Summer Camp

Our summer camp program is designed for Boy Scouts and Venturers who want to achieve advancement by earning merit badges and learning Scouting skills. This is the historical purpose of summer camp: an opportunity for Scouts to work on various "outdoor" merit badges and to have fun by participating in numerous activities.

It's an important aspect of summer camp, since many troops don't have resources such as canoes, rowboats, or archery and rifle ranges, and many of the other outdoor resources required for advancement in Scouting. A Scout cannot do everything in camp. There are so many activities possible; it is impossible for a Scout to do them all.

Below are links to information about our various program areas and campwide activites we provide for all scouts. You can use the Leaders Guide as a printable document to learn everything the camping program at Cole Canoe Base has to offer to scouts.

Campwide Events

We have built a fun and exciting summer camp program that enables scouts of all ages to participate.

Scouts can learn various scouting and life skills. Breaking down barriers to making new friends and building teamwork and scouting skills are what make our daily events a key part of our successful summer camp program.

View our Summer Camp Events page for a list of campwide events we host as part of our summer camp program.

High Adventure

We have multiple High Adventure and Rifle River trek options to suit the adventurous needs of Scouts of all ages and experience levels.

Please visit our Rifle River Program page for more information about our canoeing treks under 50 miles and our High Adventure page for all other treks.
